Waiting
 
Waiting for a word,
Waiting for a reaction,
Waiting for a hint,
Waiting for a sign that shows, you understand it.
 
The sound of pain and desperation,
Shame and fear,
Mixed with desire and yearning.
All these feelings screaming in my head.
 
Waiting for a look,
Waiting for your hand,
Waiting for a smile,
Waiting for something that shows, you know it.
 
These feelings are killing me,
Killing me slowly.
Step by step,
I’m sinking in this pain,
Getting lost in my anguish.
 
Waiting for a whisper,
Waiting for anything,
Waiting for everything,
Waiting for something that shows, it’s ok.
 
Waiting.....just waiting for something.
