Perfect World

A perfect world from the outside,
But I’m hiding behind my secrets.
Pushed back in my corner,
Hiding in the dark crying.

They don’t see what’s in my real world,
Don’t see the real me.
I’m covered with a smile,
Closed in me,
Obscured by lies of happiness.

Perfect world from the outside,
Broken soul from the inside.
Locked somewhere in the middle of these worlds,
Trying to break free.

And you think my life is great,
But you don’t see my pain.
Shouldn’t I be happy with what I have?
But still my soul’s so empty and so lost.

Perfect world covered by a mask,
Broken world marked-off my own build wall.
