Lost in my own Mind
 
My mind is racing,
So many thoughts in my head,
That I can’t figure out.
Nothing makes sense,
And I’m lost.
I’m screaming in my head.
 
I’m drowning, sinking and drifting away.
Lost in my own mind.
 
Lonely and helpless,
So much pain in me.
Trying to stop it,
Trying to kill it,
And I’m drowning in my hopelessness.

Lost in my own mind.
 
Can’t see the way,
It’s so dark,
Waiting for the sun to come.
 
Can’t find the way,
I’m lost,
Waiting for a sign.
 
Can’t go,
Ossified by my fear,
Waiting or a hand to reach.
 
And I’m sinking in my desperation.
 
Helpless, lost and alone,
Drowning, sinking and drifting away.
Lost in my own mind.
