Big Brown Eyes
Big brown Bambi eyes,
They hide a secret inside,
Hide so much she’d like to tell,
More than she was able to bring out of her mouth.
And he knows about her feelings,
But he can’t return.
Should he play the nice guy,
Try to be her friend?
Or go on as it would have never been said,
Like the world erased the words,
That where so hard for her to tell.
Now she’s going on with life,
Like it would have never happened,
And secretly she’s hoping that he falls in love with her,
Like she fell in love with him.
But she knows the truth, that’s so hard to handle,
And she’s playing the girl she was before,
But at nights she’s crying,
For everything that was not supposed to be.
And when they meet each other,
And he’s looking in her Bambi eyes,
She’s melting away,
And she’s dying inside,
With every smile he smiles for her,
With every kind word he’s saying to her,
With every move he makes,
Makes away from her.
And he will never know the truth,
That’s hidden behind her big brown eyes.
